is it a good combination to run a akmee type s cam with p29 pistons in my y8?
i'm going to be running a .070mm HG to possibly lower the compression just a bit. i'm going with a cometic HG. thanks.

since Frank hyped the Akmee's, I haven't heard from him since. They were just Crower copies.

Ehh? We dyno and documented the Type-S profile with full details and tons of graphs. What do you mean I "hyped" it. "Just Crower copies". Actually, NO. When you replicate a profile, inevitable changes occur due to resolution of the measuring equipement. Type-S procially is based on Crower 2 but is is NOT identicle. We soften the profile ever so slightly. PLEASE STOP SAYING THEY ARE IDENTICLE TO CROWER.

We have never steering people from Crower's D series cams, in fact I have always said you can't go wrong with them. We are just here offering a cheaper alternative, and hopefully develop additional parts for the D series in the future.
