ive been out of the speaker talk for a while, but i am doing my dads tundra(ohh what an amazing vehicle) so i have a few questions.
front and backs are 6.5
there are the 3 ways from A series
and the ways from the REV series...these are said to be better according to puioneer.

these speakers are goining in to a truck with no sub, so they will have to support some of the bass, this is why i am leaning towards the 3 way, they will sepparate the lows and highs better. it has been my experience that the higher end speakers and 2 ways dont handle bass as well but when included in a full system with a sub they sound better B/c they are being used in the range they are intended(this was my experience with kenwood and sony), this being said i believe the 3 way will handle better in a subless system than a two way.

i would appreciate any help

are u sure they are not crossovers... i have kenwoods now same components

i am not going to do components b/c i dont want to deal with mounting crossovers, extra wiring, and that stuff.

its my dads truck, if its sounds a lil better than stock and he can turn it up he will be happy

u could always get small subwoofers or even just get 2 ways and install a hi/low filter and then install ur own tweeters....Seperating the sound for seperate speakers (if done correctly) will give u the best quality
