D16y8 to d15B7 ? [Archive]

Hey all!
Just aquired a 93 Civic Ex with a blown D16Y8. I have access to a D15B7
with transaxle. Looking for basic transportation for daughter.Is this a doable swap? Thanks,Whistler

yes. pretty easy. just put the bottom end in the civic and there ya go.

Concerned about the ecu. There are 2 less sensors on the D15B7 than on the D16Y8. The D15B7 is out of a 95 LX.Do I need the ecu from this car?
