alright, im reinstalling the cylinder head on my a6 but for some reason the cam timing looks funky. i thought i set it up right, but it just doesnt look correct. can anyone verify this for me?

white marks lined up at timing arrows, and installed with UP pointing up and lines as close to horozintal with block as possible. with belt on it looks a little cockeyed. but it also looks like if i moved it 1 tooth, it would be just as far off the other direction...

also, the belt is a little less tight on the left side. so that should make up for SOME(very little) of the dash being too low...

Looks dead on to me, look at the bottom of the cam gear, that's your timing mark pointer.

I do this all the time you look at it long enough and think something is wrong but it looks fine to me.

oh yeah......

I made a timing belt tensioner puller, since the never slide right due to grit.......without having to pull the lower cover anymore.......

It worked too good the first time, the tensioner starte singing :)

To use it you reach past the belt and hook the tensioner arm near where the spring connects.........
