crx manifold on dohc zc?

sohc d manifolds will not fit the zc without modifications...why do you wanna do this? dont have a mani? if not i got one u can have for $30 shipped...no tps sensor though.

^^ I dont plan on usen a stock manifold I plan on usen a performance one thats meant for the crx since I havnt been able to find one for the dohc zc..

ive seen b18 manifolds modified to fit the zc head....better shoice for u i think as there manis are larger anyways

Or you can just get one for an 88-91 civic/crx. All you gotta do is take the exhaust manifold gasket from the zc and trace the holes onto the header. Then take a die grinder or dremel and make the ports a little bigger than the traced lines. Sorry if thats hard to understand.

Okay, hang on a sec here. Dirty91crx and ZCED6 are talking about 2 diffrent things. While Dirty is talking about Intake Manifold, ZCED6 is talking about exhaust manifolds.

The exahust manifold for a CRX/CIVIC will bolt right up no problem, but it does need to be ported out by a couple mm to one side (cant remeber what side). This means that any header will also bolt up to a DOHC ZC, while just needed to be ported out as well.

The Intake Manifold WILL NOT BOLT UP, and Im not sure if the 88teg one will eaither. If you didnt get the intake manifold with your motor, best bet is to find a performance one made for an civic and have it modded, not sure if anyone here has one that can tell you more about whats needed though.

Okay, to make it really simple here it is.

The INTAKE manifold for the DOHC ZC motor, is a one off peice from honda, meaning nothig else will bolt up. You may be able to mofify one to fit, but it wont just bolt on.

Any EXHAUST manifold made for the 88-91 Civic/CRX will bolt on fine, but will need to be ported out to one side.
