What would be a good size of exhaust piping to use on a N/A D17 that could also work well later when I boost it?

2.5 is perfect it will work well with turbo or n/a. check out esplier jgt 500 exhast its a nice system i have it on my car

If you're absolutely positive about boost, just wait, that's my opinion. 3" is ideal for most turbo applications, but too large for a small N/A with little mods, you'll lose low end and not be able to make use of the big ass pipe in top end.
