ok so will the safc and vafc work on an obd0???
if i convert to v-tech, on my obd0, can i use the vafc to control the v-tech instead of converting to obd1.(this will be on a mini-me with 14b turbo, and fmic, dsm injectors, adjustable fpr)
if it wont i will just stay with the a6 head.
thanks alot

Yes, a V-AFC will control V-TEC.

But.. Look into http://www.TurboEDIT.org

It is a much better, and cheaper solution.

you do know that hondata now supports some obd-0 ecu's right?

Hondata is expensive... free ROM editors are the way to go and they do everything you need. I am going with uberdata because I am obd1, but if I was obd0 I would be going with turboedit.

Hondata "supports" PR3, and PW0. Do you know what thier "support" includes? Map editing.

No rev limits, no VTEC limits, no launch control, no extensive datalogging. Niiiiice "support".

TurboEDIT suports Map editing, VTEC activate/deactivate RPMs, Fuel Multiplir Editing, and has real-time in car updating with ROMulator, and ECUControl can datalog.

..but ya, pay for Hondata.. ::rolls eyes::

thanks alot i will probly try the turbo edit. where can i get the material needed to do this, and with the vtec control, how does it exactly work on an ecu that was not designed for vtec and where would i splice wires into my ecu for the vtec.??

could a b16a1 obdo ecu be used on a d16 minime to give it the capability to engadge v-tech and maybe more fuel.??then do turbo edit on that ecu

B16A1 ECU is a PR3.

Yes, a PR3 can be used on a D16 mini me. However, you'll need to edit the MAPs because a B16 flows a lot more air than any D series mini. You can use TurboEDIT to do this. It will have a low and high cam map for VTEC out and in, essentially. Very easy to tune.
