Iam putting a 1995d16z6 into my 91 crx. What alternator and starter should I get 95' d16z6 or 91' crx?

You can use either alternator, the CRX alternator has a 3 ribbed pulley, and the 92-95s (D16Z6s) have 4, so the only problem there is the belt wont be as wide and will have an extra rib on the crank pulley... Not a big deal I ran mine like that for a year no issues... If you need to buy a new one anyways, Id get a high output off eBay, they are cheaper than OEM replacements... Youll have to upgrade the charge wire tho (4 gauge from the starter to the battery, bypassing the fuse box)... And get one for the D16Z6 (92-95 Civic Si) that way you wont have any issues with the belt (buy a new one)...

As for starter pretty sure either will both work, but on the safe side use the CRX... Since u will have to reuse the CRX flywheel and tranny...
