Sup people. Im obviously new here, I was recommended by MrHalder to check out the site. And maybe get some info. Im new to the world of honda cars, atleast building them. I used to work on Volkswagens and there is a world of difference from those to hondas. I just recently picked up an 88 sedan LX with a blown dohc zc. I am currently replacing this motor with a d15b w/ vtec ( I dont know the actual engine code for this jdm motor ). So far Ive taken the mpfi off the zc and plan to put it on the d15. I have a 91 Si trans on its way and an Exedy stage 1 clutch. A chipped p28 ecu. The obd0 to obd1 conversion harness. New motor mounts ( I may need to get some poly U inserts ). There is a crack on the front crossmember which has been terribly welded which I need to replace as well. Im kinda wondering what throttle body and intake manifold I should get in the future. Also what other parts I should look into to complete this entire swap. I have headers ( nothing special ) and Im not into that fart can exhaust BS. Well atleast until I need it. The whole ricer crap makes me laugh. Once Im done with the motor I plan on gettin to work on the suspension. After my project is completed my goal is to have a 4 door go kart. Anyway, if anyone wants to share some DOs and DONTs. Im more than willing to listen and thanks for your time. Pics should be up shortly. :thehump:

Yes I must admit. When my friends 06 Si's vtec kicked in I knew what I had to do. Take him on with a D series. My aircooled days are over. THANK GOD, I live in the desert. my cars only ran half way decent @ night.

Heres some pics. Threw in a picture of the front motor mount and the beautiful welding job the previous owner had done on the crossmember. After looking at the motor mount I can see why the crossmember tore like that. HAHA

I can feel you 150 hp aircooled motors didn't like the cali valley much either. Welcome to fuel injection and less road noise.

Could someone help me with info on what I need to do to pass emissions in California with the d15b. As well as telling me what I need to do with the axel question. And maybe the answer to this question... If I bought a universal 4 wire o2 sensor.. where would I get the plug? Use my old plug from the zc?
