hello all.
ive been searching around for different mixtures of compressions and octane levels and i havnt really found alot, so i was wondering if you guys can help me out here.
can you guys list down what octane levels you use at different compression levels?
And what is a streetable compression? as a daily driver?
thanks.

well it depends on the engine type and the ecu fuel/ignition maps...

but all 9.X:1 c/r can run regular 87... unless you have a funky ignition map that runs advanced timing

anything above that you'll want to run more octane. The K20 engines require 91 I believe. I think the b16s do too.

here in md we have 93, not 91, and the way ive always done it, was i ran 93 on anything, might be a waste of money, but it burns nicer and i needed it with the nitrous and turbo, and if you advance your timing(ie n/a most of the time) you should run it.

I agree with Makku on the 87 octane and just want to add that 89 works well with high 9:1 to low 10:1 CR.

Could you run 89 on 9:96cr with a turbo.
