d16z?? horsepower

a guy where i live is trying to sell a 95 ex that he swapped a d16z into. what is a d16z? he said it is the japanese version of the d16z6 (i thought that was the d15b)but has 170 hp.???? this cant be true? is it? i tried to search for a horsepower site but couldnt find that particular engine. thanks for any help

so does that engine not exist? here is his ad in the paper:
1994 HONDA Civic EX, black coupe, 5-spd. manual, D16Z engine w/matching tranny, Acura blade wheels, ground control coil overs.....he is only asking 2500 and is willing to work a little on the price. said he ordered the engine with 30,000 miles on it and has had it in for a year and 1/2.

no he doesnt have any pics...but i am gonna go look at it tomorrow and drive it...cause now i gotta see this engine he's talkin about. i can take my camera and take some pics so if i dont buy it and someone here wants it I can pass the info along!

japan has a version of the d16z6, but they called it the d16a . The d15b is their other SOHC vtec engine. No SOHC is going to make more than 130hp out of the factory... so he's full of shit.

If the d16z exists, it might be from Australia or Europe or something.... but not Japan or the US.
