i put a set in my car today and the shifting is great. it used to pop out of 2nd all the time but it didn't on the way home. i can't say for sure if it has solved the problem or not, but if not i will be sure to respond.

still pops out of gear. i think that it might be the shifter fork detents or the syncro. time for a rebuild.

notice how your shifter kind of flops around and is sometimes a little hard to get into gear? Well, the ES bushings take care of that. nice firm shifting. If you miss the gear now, its your own fault :)

I put these on about eight months ago, and shifting firmed right up. Great upgrade for $10! I added a generic short shifter a couple of weeks ago, and I can't believe how the thing shifts now. Just short of too much effort, but not too notchy, and no missed shifts...ever. I don't think the shifter would feel so nice without the Energy bushings. I think the slop would make it frustrating to try to shift with.
Anyway, my $.02.

yay, i installed my inserts today. It seemes to shift into 3rd a lot smoother now. It took no time to put the back one in and a long time to put the front one in. ITs just hard to line the bolts back into the block and such.

Love 'em, they make for a much more positive stop at the end of the shift thow. I didn't realizr how spongy the stock bushing were until I replaced them.

Just order a set of the Energy suspension ones. Alex got me a set for my Uberdata services :) and WOW what a difference. It feels so "crisp" and tight. Each shift is so much more distinctive in feel I never knew I had a problem or could improve on the shifter feel. Well worth the money even though I didnt spend a dime...sorta lol! Took me all but 10 minutes to install them AND my exhaust was still hot.

This is making me want to order some for my CRX.!! then ill let you guys know!! hahha

I had put them on about a year and a half ago....huge difference....but I think I've also found out how long you can go before needing to replace them too.....right about 18 months or so. I need to replace the two front linkage bushings, they're rounded and sloppy now...lol, but for the price it's still worth it.
