Why? you ask.
By venting the air passing under my 1st gen CRX Si and using a slightly deeper front air dam, this creates an area of low air pressure under the car that sucks the car down to the pavement at speed. This home-made ground effects does not create a huge amount of down force, but every little bit helps.
