need LSD info...ignorant but hoping to become informed

I have a MT '92 VX w/ a Z6 swap and I am in need of a LSD. All I know about it is what it does (not how, mind you, but what).

1) What, specifically, should I be shopping for?
2) What to stay away from?
3) I did my engine swap alone, can I tackle the installation?
4) Best place to go shopping?
5) what models can I rob from?

I auto-x and have no intentions of ever drag racing if that makes a dif.

1-kazz or quaife(im running a quaife)
2-phantom grip....heard to many horror stories about those.
3-tranny teardown is a little more complicated than dropping an engine in
4-search...i got mine off ebay for $600
5-not too sure as of yet.
since your going to be autocrossing i rec the quaife....the kazz performs almost like a locking diff if set high.
