I've been reading up on just about every spring and no one really seems to be using Comptechs. The advertised drop is what I'm looking for (1" - 1.5") on my '97 EX but I've never really seen or heard any feedback from an owner yet.
Comptech makes quality prpducts so I'm not too concerned about that, but if anyone wants to comment on the drop, ride, if a camber is needed, etc......... These are going on Koni Yellows by the way... The other option is to get GC's.... Thanks for any info :)

My girlfriend has those on her 99 civic lx sedan, she just wanted a very comfortable ride with minimal lowering while still elminating lots of wheel gap.
They are definately top notch quality, they come with tags on each spring with handwritten #/ft ratings that were to one after the decimal (ex: 251.7), i cant remember what they were exactly offhand but i think i made her keep them, ill ask.
They are too soft for my likings, but are an excellent spring depending on what type of spring you wanted.

oh and no camber kit is needed, and about a 1.5" drop once settled

Finally!! You're the first I've heard from with "real world" experience. Would you happen to have any pics of your GF's LX?
I heard about each spring being custom rated to cure the Honda "lean." Thanks again for your input :D

here are some i found, not the best pics, the car is on a slight hill, the front sits a lil lower on flat ground, but you can get the idea

You are coming through big time! :P It's a nice clean drop, nothing radical, just what I'm looking for. For most, it's not low enough, but I think it's fine for daily driving and carrying passengers. Appreciate your help :)

Yes they are perfect for daily driving...I knew my girlfriend wouldnt be able to miss every pothole and drop off and she wanted to have good streetable comfortable springs. We went with the comptechs and could not be happier with the decision
