if i want to lower my car the right way and not blow my stock shocks, the smartest thing to do would be to get aftermarket shocks and springs. like kyb. if i do this, are these aftermarket shocks made to be low with springs or am i gonna get stock ride height. wont putting on springs on my stock shocks be the same thing as putting springs on aftermarket shocks?

no it won't. most aftermarket shocks are made for lowered cars. they have higher rates than stock shocks. I don't know all of the details, but aftermarket shocks are made for performance, not just a comforatable ride.
also aftermarket shocks are the same size as your stock shocks. it's the springs that are a different size. The springs are what will actually lower your car.
you can lower your car without changing the shocks but the odds are against you with how long the shocks will last.
it would just be easier and cheaper to change the shocks and springs at the same time.
also if your lowering car more than 1.25" (i think that the number) you should really consider a camber kit so you don't wear down your tires.
for a couple hunder bucks, it's much cheaper than replacing your tires every year.

Do not use stock shocks! Wheel bearings will be shot. If doing any mod do it right. Don't take the cheap way out. My opinion.

Depends on how low you intend on going.
1.5-1.75 and stock shocks will be fine, along with Tok's and KYB's.
Go much lower than that, I suggest a short body shock, or one that has has the shaft shortened.
AKA Koni's.
