ZC Distributor wiring question

when i do my zc swap i hear i have to cut two wires from the si distributor and attach them to the exhaust cam sensor on the zc. i know which wires these are but do i simply cut them at the top of the distributor and attach them to the exhaust cam sensor? is there anythingi have to do besides this? any comments would help

I ran the 2 wires from the ecu harness throught the firewall and onto the cam sensor. I know that you have to cut the 2 wires when putting a 88-91 civic/crx motor ino a 4th gen dx.

want to now the colors of the wires to cut on the SI distributor to put zc cam sensor to work

solid blue
blue with a yellow stripe

the wires are blue with green stripe and blue with yellow stripe
