I don't know what this setup can do, but It's a good carb for v8...
On 4 cylinders It only needed if you want fuel flowing en the exhaust end...

Shit, that is definately overkill on a 1.5. I had 750 on my 86 5.0 Mustang which was pretty build and it was great on that... I've heard of poeple using Holley 350's on Hondas but a 750 is crazy.

Thats nuts...the needle adjustment would have to be turned OFF or close to it, then it still would be a toss-up whether it would start. ugh.

Why not plug gaz line directly from tank into the intake manifold ?

LOL. I like the way it looks. But like everyone else said, that is alot of fuel for a 4 cylinder engine. Ive got a b4 intake on the way that ill be modifying for use with a holley 350 cfm 2 barrel. I thought about a holley 4412 (500 cfm) but that would even be overkill unless you rejet it. Shit, if he can actually run that thing I would be shocked.

with only 1.5L of "suction" instead of 6.0L likethe 750 cfm should be on, the reduced vacuum across the venturis means you need larger jets.

Just maybe the V8 jetting happens to be NEAR PERFECT for the lower vacuum signal.

Don't make me dig out the 20+ year old Holley Books.

LOL . Looks like some experimenting needs to be done. I do like the way he mounted it in respect to the runners. Left side feeds left runners right side feeding the right. Everything pretty symmetrical. Probably work better and help the idle speed and tq if he mounted a 2" spacer in between the carb and the manifold/plate. What do you think about the mounting. Should it be facing the way it is towards the valve cover or should it be facing 90 degrees to the left (passenger side)

I chatted with "ELDO" on the ALT board. He mounted the carb the way he did because of the primary bores would be furthest and even length from the head. The ONLY issue I saw was the fuel in the bowls moving away from the jets upon a HARD slick launch. I suggested using extension tubes on the jets, like Moroso advertises.

This is not new!!!!!!!

Look into Clifford Research and the stuff they did with straight line 6 cylinders from Chevy and Ford.

Funny thing you mention Clifford Research. Clifford performance same thing?
I was looking at adapters and old straight sixes and even some of the old straight eights just to get an idea at how the mounted them. In a front wheel drive car with the engine mounted differently than they use to be in my day. Even the way the carb has a slight angled rise.. Fuel slosh would seem to be a problem if you mounted any other way than facing forward. Of course that might seem obvious.

so 25 years later Clifford is known as Clifford Performance, you got the idea.
