do u want matching front and rear tires or it doesnt matter.
i used to have the advan a032r's infront and they were bad ass.even in the rain.but i dont know about snow cus it only snows once a year here and it doesnt even stick.
and the bfg kdw are supposed to be the best for traction. i think it stands for Kontrol Dry Wet.but dont quote me on this

yokohama parada spec 2's... I've got about 15k miles on mine, showing no signs of wear, and without sway bars I cant even push them hard enough to make-em slip... less than 100 a piece on tirerack

the parada's are nice tires, but they won't work in snow. and they don't really last more than a year, especially with hard driving. but very nice grip. just don't expect them to last awhile.

How long do the Falken azenis last for on average. Also the yoko avs es100. Any help appreciated.

The Falkens have their "Apple Technology" which translates to better heat dispersion.for hard driving ....Bla BLA BAL..translated: on average if rotated..and car aligned properly realisticaly 13-23K..the yoko 100's ..same situation has more of a chance to hit the 23-34K if properly maintained..a slightly better "All around tire" Keep in mind this is daily commute driving guesstaments on mileage..and some peeps will get more ..others less.

I'm very happy with my yok avs es100 :) Excellent street tire. Low road noise and handles well in the wet. I've been on them for about 3months now and you can't beat them for $56 a pop for 195/55/15 @ tirerack.

I have the yok's and they are great fro dry driving...and decent in the rains also. However, these suck 100% in the snow IMO....I couldn't even leave my driveway!!

That would be because they are summer performance tires
Nobody makes a tire that sticks *well* to everything.

Exactly. They are very nice dry and rain tires but in the snow you arent goin anywhere.

Wanna bet?
The tires that came on my car work very *well* in every condtion I had them in. Rain, sleet, snow or dry...these Yok's are horrible in the snow...and he's asking for something that will be decent in wintery weather, so why would anyone who owns the yok's and had them in snow ever recommend them?

I run Toyo T1-S in the summer... and Kumho Izen snows in the winter...
If you get snow... get snow tires!! world of diff.
Look at Teg Type-R... nice suspension from the factory, But not nearly as advanced as a lot of aftermarket setups... yet it handles extremely well... it's got some excellent Bridgestone Potenza's
tires are the only point of contact between the car and the ground, and the contact patch is like 4 CD's (4 tires).... Do Not cheap out.

Yokohama makes a very nice street tire, like their parada spec 2 is a really good tire, but if you're more serious, go for one of the Advan sport/street tire thats in that advan link below...

for the money (up here in canada) the azenis are a pretty good deal (performance-wise)... the best investment i made so far is to get a set of summer rims/tires and a *dedicated* winter rim/tire set up... i used to think all-seasons would be a good way to go... imo forget it. all-seasons = half-assed ...

FALKEN AZENIS hands down. cheap, sticky, good life for the treadwear, but they do weigh a ton!
