Well everyone has their opinion on whether or not aftermarket crank pulleys are good or no good. Ive heard both sides and i still dont know what conclusion to come to.
I read somewhere written by mista bone that aftermarket crank pulleys tend to be the fatal factor in destroying z6, y8 and d15b cranks.
there are many brands to choose from...dh-racing, unorthadox, aem, etc.
I would like some people with expirences to post...
anyone?

so much misinfo anymore.........
simple facts....the D16 NEEDS the heavy rubber dampener, stock weighs 6.75 lbs.
The D16 with their 90mm stroke needs the dampening, the D15 and their 84.5mm stroke seem to be ok with the light stock 2.5 lbs pulley.
I killed the D16Z6 bearings in 10,000 miles with a D15B7 pulley on a D16Z6 motor.
