One issue is the timing side mount. Not the same mount but not an insurmountable issue as some claim. Check this thread. http://www.d-series.org/viewtopic.php?t=3273 Similar thread with a picture. http://resource.crx.org/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=20164&hig hlight= JS

Yea i was looking into that, then i was also reading around about tranny problems...im ripping the motor out, possibly tomorrow (out of the integra) that is ...
something wrong with the tranny thats in the teg, yet to see what it is till i take it apart, but if that fails, ive got a d15 tranny laying around :P
Overall, im trying to figure out what needs to be wired...i can fab the mount to my liking im sure.

my question is why? the 86-89 teg motors have less hp and trq than a zc does. I guess if were going to build it that would be ok but I'm about saving myself hassle and that seems like this swap is going to be 1

I wouldn't bother trying to make this work....... It's been done but you have to reweld one of the holes for the transmission and fab up a custom drivers side mount. It's really not worth it for a stock Teg motor. I would sell it and buy something that fits.

Go to ZC motors and 2nd ZC. You'll see what has to be done.
