The more I read about k20a swaps the more expensive and complicated they get. Are there any other more friendly swaps such as the h22a or maybe a b16a. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Frankly, I'm disappointed with my d-series brothers and sisters in this thread. Everyone starts out ignorant and tries to learn. That's what we're here for. I agree his question was misplaced, but that's no excuse to harsh on him for asking. What ever happened to, "there are no stupid questions"? I'm not surprised he reacted negatively. How do you expect this community to grow and prosper unless a noob gets his/her feet wet first? At least, I'd suggest moving his post to a sub section that is more appropriate. I realize there isn't one, so create one. No system in nature can survive without diversity. This is a great board...I proudly have "d-series.org" on the windows of my EG hatch and I'd like to keep it that way. Otherwise we're no better than any other board.

i think it may be the pain, booz, and meds talking. this is Dseries not kseries or hseries. hes asking to swap one or the other. go to hondatech or another website that deals with those. why come to a sohc site and ask about swapping engines the site doesnt deal with? if you were on a chevy smallblock forum would you ask about swapping in a hemi? no you wouldnt

I don't disagree. My opinion is that this looked more like a lynch mob than a support forum. Flame the man, send his rep into the crapper, but banning him for asking a question is extreme. We don't know why he was here or what brought him. After all, he only had three posts.

Yes, to many of us it is painfully obvious. Some people just take a little longer to figure things out. I've been in the technical education field for twelve years. I've seen a lot of stupid people and yet we do our best at training them. I just think it was harsh, that's all.
