I just ordered a different style CAI from ebay ill get pic up when im not lazy
IEN?
You're kidding me. They can't even come up with a name, and chop the AEM logo? wow. Make it fit, I'll bet they send out the same "kit" for multiple cars/models. Sounds like something speedpeople.com would do.....

Hey FMIDRC Racer,
Did you buy that shit from a guy named "importwholesales" or some shit like that on ebay. If so NEVER buy from that asshole again. He sold me some wack ass camber kit that looked nothing like the picture. When I got the item on the side of the box it read 92-95 civic camber kit. I won the auction for an 88-91 civic camber kit because my car is an 89 HB, plus it took the dude like 4 weeks to get the shit to me. Needless to say that dude is on my permanent black list. That IEN shit that you bought from him is the same type of janky shit that he sells to everyone, the company IEN don't even exist. Nothin but korean knock of parts from this guy. I hate fuckers like that.

lol .. IEN ?? thats the cheapest rip off of AEM ive ever seen ... i custom fit a 99 ex intake on my 97 iM .. the piping wasnt sittin right in the engine bay so me and my friend just cut into the fender and made a hole for the piping .. pretty easy ..

yeah i did get it from importwholesale.com on ebay. it looks like a pretty decent intake for what little money was spent, but yeah it looks like it's for a 96 up cause it has a hole for a air intake temp sesor. also the mounting bracket doesn't line up right. it also wasn't cut into 2 peices like the auction said (wich i like the 1 peice better) and yeah it did take a while to get. he has e-mailed me back a few times about the problem but in the last one he asked me to give him a call so that we could work this out but no phone number. all in all i'm at a neutral so far with this purchase.

I bought the 2-piece IEN cai for my 99 ex. it fit fine just didn't have the second hole for the tubes that I needed. it had the air temp hole and one other sticking out, so I have a nice rig so the two are coupled to one to the intake pipe.
what car did you buy this intake for?
you can always cut the pipe and make it two pieces.
but what all problems are you having with it. I'll try to help you out as much as I can.

I bought one for $14.99.
Just for the pipe. I ditched the cheap filter and the fruity colored couplings. Went to Autozone, bought a real K&N and Home Depot, got black pipe coupling, tubing.
I used the included mounting strap, but I had to put some proper bends to make it fit right. I mounted it to the pipe with a small tack weld. If you can't weld, a small hole drilled in the pipe and a short, 1/2 length bolt with a smooth head will work.
So I spent $60 for my intake but I KNOW its as good as of quality as AEM, DC sports, whatever...and it doesn't look nearly as cheap.

You get what you pay for. Why do you think Iceman's, AEM, Dc sports, Injen, even Ractive are a little expensive?? Most of Ebay is liquidation. There is an overstock because nobody buys it.

well I don't know about that. I bought the IEN intake and put a K&N filter on it. the piping is exactly the same as an AEM. I have an AEM bypass valve that I attach to it when it rains.
I think it's just as good as an AEM just without the name or stickers.
and for much less
