you namesd all the good compaines ... invidia , rsr, apex'i , hks , greddy, skunk2, 5zigen ... when it comes to exhaust .. dont get a cheap knock off ... get a real muffler ... either full cat back or custom piping .. either way is good ...

what do you plan to do with the car? What I learned from this board is know where you are going with the car , then build accordingly. daily driver, road race, weekend car, track/drag..

Mines a daily driver, but built a little. So something with good flow but not too loud and not too expensive

Most of these are great for minor mods BUT sometime u need to go custom when the price is of the chart.
DynoMax Good Mufflers
as well as Magnaflow
TJ on the CRX board custom fab'd 2.5 CRUSH BENT ext for his Supercharged D16A6 with great results proly half the price you'd pay for the name brands

I would reccommend a greddy. I have a greddy evo on my 99 ex. it's pretty much 2.5" piping all the way through with a big tip. it sounds good. it doesn't sound really raspy like a worldsport. it's a clean low sound. plus I do believe that all greddy's are compliant with the sound laws so you don't have to worry about a ticket for a loud exhaust. but it's your choice do what you want.

he may have been thinking about dynamax. I've heard good things about their mufflers.
I had a magnaflow cat-back. Excellent exhaust, just too loud for my daily driver (I also thought that my short ram was loud), and poor low end (great top end). I now have an RSR Ex-Mag and I love it :)

i bet ... RS*R is a good ass exhaust company .. top JDm ! those are quality ... as far as dynomax and dynamax ... i wouldnt put either of those on my car ...

Depending on what other mods, etc...I would fab up some mandrel bent pieces from summit/jegs, high flow cat, mid-sized straight through resonator(if one at all), and flowmaster/walker/magnaflow muffler to a decent size muffler. all 2.25" . Then, if you added some cams/mild headwork, intake, cam gear tuned...wow...purdy fun daily driver.
