I heard it is good for your car and your modification that after each mod you unplug your ecu for a few seconds then plug it back in. this resets the ecu. is this truly something good to do everytime you add a new mod?

Well true if your running a OBD-II system 96 and newer ecu.
On 95 and older OBD-I system no self learning.

In my experience, my ECU adjusts to the new mods I have placed without doing that thing. It does take awhile--2 days to a week--but it gets the job done.

True on D16A6 as well. Not only when you do some modifications. Is good to do it when mother natures changes. rain,snow,fog,etc... sounds funny but is true.
