hooked up a retard air/fuel gauge and a water temp in a buddies car. turn the accessory on in the car and the airfuel jsut has the last green LED and the water temp gauges moves just a tad but after driving for 10 minutes the air/fuel never moved once and neither did the water temp. makes me think something is hooked up funny. i change the thickness of the wires. i had them for power attached to the RADIO fuse in the dash fusebox and they are grounded on the metal of the center console. any ideas guys? thanks in advance

the first problem is normal. when you turn the key forward it sits at that spot with no reading until it warms up the o2 sensor, but it should move around while driving.

for the o2 you have the wrong wire hooked up..
you have the 12 volt steady on there...its only a 4 wire correct?

its on another crx...it uses a 1 wire. i have the purple wiring attached to the o2 wire. didnt tinker with it really. i have them for 12 volts going to the RADIO fuse. it has a 15amp...you think maybe its not getting a strong enough voltage and if i tried say maybe a 25 itd do something?

Well in a few days I'll be able to help you out more..anyways
I've hooked up the A/F to my Rex too!!! Right now I have the same reading as you. Now the way I hooked it up
Red wire: 12v ignition on:Piggie out of the fuse block
Black: Grounded from my main source I made
Purple: spliced into my 1 wire O2
More than likely warming up is a thing you will have to do. best of luck

I would think you could splice the 1 O2 wire or just tap into the O2 wire at the ECU.. Either way should work for you. (Tapping at the ECU might be better)
Good luck w/ it....

better get the O2 wire as close as possible to the ECU!
I got one A/F meter, plug the 12v direct to battery with a 5amp fuse!
ground the black wire on the frame next to the cluster!
