Install CD player, access. wire

I checked all the wires where the stero goes and no wire has 12v with the ignition in access. . I've been checking all the wires behind the fuse box, etc. and I can't find wire that has 12v when I turn the key to access. What wire do I splice? I have a 88-91 civic.

did u check under fuse box under the hood? something might have popped there

if not, just fuse an ignition line off the ignition harness under the steering wheel

I would splice at the cig lighter,ignition or another spot at the fuse panel.....Best of luck and hope you got it.
