tach and temp gauge

my tach and temp gauge both dont werk...
any ideas?? i couldnt figure it out last night..
the temp needle now goes all the way to the top and sits there
and the tach doesnt do anything..

any1 know how to fix this???

does sound like it could be the ground do check that for both..(you should know where you grounded each at or at the same point)
If after doing that the tach still does nothing but light up then I would check the tach lead whereever you tapped that in. At the distributor under the hood, at the Ecu or behind the guage cluster. Cause if the tach is lighting up then your power source and ground are good.
