I will be boosting my stock D16y8 sometime soon. I would like to know what the most boost I could run daily? It will be tuned for the best fuel setup and all. I would just liek to know what I could run daily until I have money to go inside the motor and build some. Thanks

9psi is the most I'd run daily.

What would be an easy route to up my boost? What should I do first?

Once you break the 200whp barrier, you should look at pistons/rods. Possibly a blockguard, or posting the block and you should be fine from there unless you really want to run some high boost. If so, then consider getting the block resleeved. You will also need to take a good look at fuel/tuning options... hondata, aem ems, etc.

At the minimum I would do the rods and pistons, and after that don't go over 1 bar or 14lbs of boost.

Good Luck

So I could run 9psi for now until I either upgrade my rods and pistons, or sleeve the block? Other than that what could I do to have the best maintenance, and performance with 9 psi, on the stock motor?

you will need a good fuel management setup. Good cooling, consider an oil cooler, vtec del sol dual core radiator, etc.

Thanks. I was planning on going with an oil cooler regardless. Anything else that would help me out?

good engine management ( hondata , aem , venom ) and proper fuel flow ( lareger injectors, fuel pump, fuel pressure reg. ) and you should be fine on 9psi ...
