Does anyone know if this engine http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=33615&item=2445256 475 will fit in a 1986 Crx Si? And if the stock tranny from the CRX will fit. Thanks

That looks like a blacktop ZC ('88-89).
You'll need a browntop ZC or d16a1 ('86-87) if you want it to bolt into a 86 crx. You'll also need the matching zc/d16a1 tranny.
That's not to say you couldn't...it would involve some custom fabrication though.

that is a civic zc (for the 4th gen chasis). What you need is the intgra zc. you can tell the difference easily in the valve cover bolts. On the civic zc the bolts are on the edges of the valve cover. On the integra zc they are more towrds the center. like this >>> http://www.g1teg.org/clubmembers/membryanpics/engine_3.jpg
the D16a1 works just the same. Oh and you will want a brown/olive top one because its easier to wire up. The black top can be done and has been done and its five more hp than the brown but its harder to wire like i said.

According to the official Honda Press Archives, the browntop ZC makes 135ps(133hp) and the blacktop makes 130ps(128hp).
I'll never understand why people want to run the blacktop over the browntop in 84-87 CRX/Civics. More trouble, less power.
The 86-87 browntop D16a1 makes 113hp
The 88-89 blacktop D16a1 makes 118hp.

I have a browntop D16A1 engine and tranny, but the engine is shot and will cost me too much to fix. Thats why i'm buying this one off ebay. Will the 87-88 Integra tranny fit on the blacktop ZC engine?

Whoops, 86-87, not 87-88.

I'm actually a little confused, is there a difference between ZC and 86-89 integra engines? Or are they the same engine?

the Term ZC is actually a lot of diffent motors including a sohc zc. i was told that dohc zc makes around 130hp (il let the experts corect me) the zc that you want comes in brown and black top like the D16a1. I think they are becoming hard to get these days.

1) yes, your D16A1 tranny will bolt up to the 88-91 ZC ebay engine, but all 17mm mouting bolts will not fit, most of them will though. You just need to make sure you swap over your D16A1 clutch & flywheel as well.
2) Yes, there are differences between a JDM ZC engine & US 86-89 D16A1 engines.
Simply put though....
If you want a compatible engine with your integra, you need to look for a 4-bolt valve cover ZC (1st gen DOHC ZC). The 8-bolt valve cover ZC engine (2nd gen DOHC ZC) thats in your EBAY ad will be a bit complicated to bolt into your integra because its designed for an EF (88-91 civic/crx) chassis and not an 86-89 integra chassis. I've installed one into my 87 civic Si a long time ago and it wasn't super easy. At least one bolt per engine mount will not match up, leaving you with 2 bolts per engine mount which seems a little unsafe, which is why I pulled out the 2nd gen ZC engine out of my civic about a week later..lol.
Find yourself a 1st gen ZC engine (brown or black top 4-bolt v.cover) to make life easy on yourself. And if you pick up a black top 1st gen ZC engine, make sure you reuse all of your integra's engine harness and ignition components.
