I have never read anything about anybody bashing anyone for suggesting running 12-15 PSI on stock internals. yes it is tough to get right, but with the right fuel management and tuning, there is no reason why it can't work!

Definently is possible, but note the 104 octane gas used. The results with 92 would have been slightly different (which they started with). Still, not bad.

All of the testing on the dyno were performed without the aid of Octane 104 to raise the octane of the 92 octane fuel.

:) i wouldn't mind a car with those numbers

I'm impressed, but that's no record. Jan hit 302whp on his Z6 with stock internals. Tuned with an AFC and a wideband. 8)
