I bought a brand new RF 9550 head unit a few months ago and from about 3 weeks ago, the radio gets crap hot and won't play CD's, it still plays the radio, but won't play anything else. Any ideas? The radio is still under guarantee and has gone back in for a check out, any ideas??
The radio faceplate is so hot that you can't touch it, and don't even get me started on the actual CD.

sounds like some internals are burned out and teh deck is acting like a
HUGE capacitor storing up all the juice!!

Never had good luck with RF decks. Always seems to have had problems. Not to mention they didnt sound that great.

well the local dealer sorted the problem and all seems to be ok now, 18 hours and it's still cool.
I like RF stuff, great amps, GREAT subs, if you buy the higher end radio's they're ok, after this one goes, I'm going back to Clarion.
