depth is usually the only issue. I've currently got 7" in my 92 sedan.

well the stock speaker bracket is cut out so depth isnt an issue, i currently have mb quarts in now and i believe they are 5 1/4 but im not sure.

too fit anything larger the stock bracket usually needs to be removed and an MDF spacer installed.

i just put 6 1/2 kenwoods in my 91 hatch. no modification needed, just plug and play! and the speaker's magnet was twice the size!

Kenwood makes some speakers with a neodymium magnet that will solve depth issues. I believe they call it there DualMag technology. They also advertise P.I.M.P. cones. (Pearl-mica Injection-Molded Polypropylene) Just thaught Ide throw that out there!

they sound pretty good. i got them on sale for about 50 bucks, so i'm happy! my pioneer premier cd player really helps out alot also though.
