how much boost is a t-3 capable of pushing on my d15b7 it has a 9.8:1 cr and if you have any idea where it will reach full boost at that would be great

A super 60 would probably push about 35-40 psi. However it would become very inefficient at anything close to those boost levels.


With a 200 shot of N2O and a nice small AR exhaust housing you could make meaningfull boost at around idle, then bend your rods from the torque of a 200 shot at idle.

You don't know it yet, but i'm being a smartass for a reason. Your questions show that you aren't ready to turbocharge your car. Become educated, read this page:

GO to your local library and rent "Maxium Boost by Corky Bell" and put it under your pillow. Read a chapter every night after your say your prayers and before you go to bed.

WHen you are done with that, do a search for Diamond Star Motors in google. Read as much as you can about their turbocharged motors. Visit some sites that carry garret turbos and learn what different parts are.

lol ... i love the cinical dsm turbo genius bastards , lol ... such humor is needed !! thanks dsm guy !! put this newb in his place ... the question shouldnt be how much does the turbo make .. it should be how much boost the motor will handle ... and how far are u willing to push it ...

no smart asses i know about the turbo shit i just havent used a t-3 before and i wasent planning on running 200lbs of boost i was just asking out of cureosity how much the d15 would make the t-3 put out personally i wouldent see it doing much more than 15lbs but i dont know ive never used this model before

15lbs? of boost on a d15 ... your tripping, unless that motor is built, dont plan on 15psi

Your question sounds weird. Are you asking how much the turbo will produce in psi or how much the motor will handle in psi?

A T3 will push as much boost as you will ever need on a Honda in most cases. It just depends how built your motor is, and if you want to blow it up if it isnt. Unless you are asking how much can you boost safely?
