Why is Wil at Exospeed such an awesome dude?

On January 21 I ordered 2 bisimoto headers from Wil, at that time he told me 4 weeks and they would be done. He then told me they were done and would ship out 2 wednesdays ago on the 2nd. Here it is 2 weeks later, I have no header and I have emailed and called him EVERY day for the last week trying to get a tracking id # for the package and he blatantly ignores my emails. He has time to post more "specials" on several internet boards during that time, but refuses to keep in contact with a customer who has given him thousands of dollars...... Word to the wise, dont buy from exospeed if you want an honest person or a truthful transaction.

I have bought from Wil and never had a problem. I dont think I have ever heard of him screwing anyone over. I hope you have proof of your allegations against him. Right now, I think your full of shit. If I am wrong I will apologize later. I consider Wil a good friend so you better be able to back it up.

I've only purchased one thing from Wil. ..SR909 regrind. He was a little difficult to get ahold of, but even after I shipped the part to a wrong address, he went and found it for me, got the work done and shipped it back with no problems.

These guys get busy, you just have to be patient and continue to stay in contact. Try not to get upset, that won't help.

Hopefully Wil will come on and explain this....I don't beleive this guy is blatatntly lying to diminish Expospeeds name, however there has to be something going on here..more to the story, then we are being told

My package was even returned to him because they said my addy didnt exist he resent and paid for the shipping ....
Granted you are correct its just one side of the story..but....Its hard to kill the reputation of someone who everyone here has delt with and had way more positive than negative results.

Wil is busy, but has time to make post about groupbuys yet not answer emails about pending shipments that are 2 weeks old.

POOR buisness. If product is delayed, contact the buyer.

Fred, I'll bet the easiet way to get ahold of Wil, post/PM him on Honda-Tech. Like under the Lenso wheel groupbuy.

wil is not a bad salesman. he is a very busy person, but the fact is he does care about his reputation and his sales. has anyone ever heard of him actually screwing someone over? yes, he has taken some time in the past, but any business will have it's delays. personally, i think it's wrong to air your dirty laundry publically.

yes but if he stated the items were shipped two weeks ago. I would expect a tracking number by now.

if the items haven't been shipped yet, then there should be an explanation.

and if the items show up at this guys doors steps tomorrow, then there should be a big appology from the thread starter.

After posting "hate" mail on several forums that he has posted on recently, I finally got a response. Supposedly one header is on its way but I still have no tracking info. This post was not meant to try and slander anyone's reputation. I am just frustrated that in two weeks of calling and emailing him EVERYDAY for an update, it had to come to this to get a response. Hopefully this will be taken care of and the post can be deleted by the mods. Just put youself in my shoes for a minute and be out almost a couple thousand dollars and noone responding to 10 civil requests for tracking information...............

i certainly understand that can be frustrated, and I don't blame you, but wil isn't usually big on returning emails. not sure why...but he's definitely a self-less worker that wants the best for his customers. sorry to see it had to come to what you had to do to get a response, but hopefully it all gets worked out for you

Situation under control. If any mods read this, please delete this post or at least change the title to not use the words liar or theif. Exospeed has come through to take care of thier customer. It was just an unfortunate tactic to have to use to get results.

I've done business with Wil @ Exospeed in the past. It is sometimes hard to get ahold of him and get prompt responses, so I can't say that he is a great business man, but he is definately an honest guy.
