If you want more info tell us what sub your running and what amp your also. Don't skimp on the details we want model numbers!!!

But if you think you can figure it out all on your lonesome just have a looksee at this site.

I have a Infinity KAPPA PERFECT 2.1 sub

Power Handling, Peak:

1400W

Power Handling, RMS:

350W

Sensitivity:

96dB (In car)

Frequency Response (± 1.5dB):

18Hz - 150 Hz

Frequency Response (±3dB):

18Hz - 150Hz

Impedance:

4 Ohms

and a Rockford Fosgate Punch 40i Mosfet amp. I didn't think it was that complicated. There's a power and a ground wire. Do you connect those wires to one of the speaker connectors on the amp?

no they don't go to the speakers. positive goes to a heavy gauge fused wire to the battery. negative goes to a ground on chassis. connect the remote wire from the deck to the remote on the amp. then connect the sub output (depends on deck) to the amp input or the speaker outs to the input. and then finally the output positive and negative to the sub in whatever enclosure you have it in.

**this is very general since it can vary immensely from component to component.**

Power wire should be a heavy gauge especially for a 350 watt RMS subwoofer probably 4 or bigger. The ground wire should be the same size thos connect to the amp. (as stated above there should be a fuse in between the battery and the amp)

As for wiring the sub there should be a box which is where your wireing will be inside of aka there will be a set of plugs you have to connect the wires to which connects to the actual subwoofer. This allows you to do diffrent things with your wiring inside the box so nobody can see it.

Note that wiring diagram is assuming your amp makes no more than 350 Watts RMS @ 4ohm when bridged and if it does you need to turn down a bit to compensate so you don't blow the sub.

WOW! Man find a friend that has done stereo work locally because you are going to fry some shit... Be carefull when doing this, oh also that fosgate amp is going to either blow, or blow the sub because it will not support the wattage that sub needs too run!
