Why won't the pager window go away?

I thought the new and improved instant messaging system was awesome until today, I keep getting the same message from the 28th of Feb popping up on every page, sometimes twice. Mods is there something that can be done about this as it is rather annoying.

Try refreshing the page or clicking on Home or D-Series.org, and if you bookmarked the website on Feb 28th it will keep on poping up the message from Feb 28th.

im having issues with some of my posts...not to hijack.

when i try to create a new thread, i am unable to type in the box, it doesnt even give me the little font pointer to click in it, it acts like it is part of the regular page. same goes for editing posts. i can type in the quick reply box fine, just not the expanded one...

I have unbookmarked this site, rebookmarked it, logged out , logged back in, restarted my computer...... this stupid pager thing is bugging the crap out of me.

I was having this problem in firefox until I upgraded to the new version

well i upgraded to 1.01 the other day, but i figured out the problem anyways. my user agent switcher was causing it. all good now. thanks though

Like someone said you probably need to redo your bookmarks

Also if you hit back on your browser to a page that had a pager message the same thing happens. Also like someone said you need to refresh that page and use the new url if you plan on bookmarking it

clear your cookies and restart the comp

I had this problem with the PM box not going away, I cleared my shit and the problem went away

if you are refering to the pager, then yes everytime I open a new page just navigating the site it pops up again. I am not hitting the back button either.

You guys, give me a break. Mods you know better than to ask. I am on the verge of logging out bspeed for the last time and starting a new profile if we can't figure this crap out collectively. Would it be possible to disconnect/uninstall the vB pager from my comp or the server?

The pager system will be back, if it is wanted, but not until some of it's bugs are worked out. Trust me, until I removed it I had an almost constant message from no one. :/
