Problem:
I need real advice. Not opinions. I am doing a 98 HX turbo and i have fuel management questions.
Proposed setup:
Stock internals.
Skunk2 intake (done)
IHI RHB5 (got it)
Bosch BOV (got it)
custom manifold (got it)
turbo adaptor (got it)
oil lines/water lines (no problem)
charge piping (no problem)
12:1 Vortech FMU (got it)
GReddy black box (got it)
Wide band O2 Sensor w/ led display. (just got it)
Questions:
Running an open wastegate will this setup be safe?
Will it have any wierd rich/lean sections of the RPM band?
Where do i get advice that i can trust?
Comments:
Everyone seems to be anti-FMU and pro-electronic controller w/ injectors. I understand that the tunability of the system is reduced, but the key here is 'dirt cheap.' I appreciate all input and thought given to this topic. I am a Honda lover and love understanding how everything works.
