I've got an aftermarket head unit, but the stock radio is set back in my center console (i'm sure others of you have this) in case i needed to replace the aftermarket one with the stock one. Well, I decided to sell my stock radio, and I can't seem to figure out how to get the bugger out without taking off my entire dash and console. does anybody have any tricks or ideas to get it out? please, the sooner help, the better! thanks!

Hammer and chisel....or at least that's my recommendation.

there are 3 screws/bolts going upwards in the back in a row to release it. you only have to loosen them, not take them all the way out. they are phillps heads. this is all after you have gotten out the console of course...

hammer and chisel....or maybe just an air hammer...be done in just a few minutes. Of course you may have to buy a new center console...but what is that to a true enthusiast........
