anybody have any suggestions? I'm looking for one that will upload videos easily, won't cost me wayyyy too much, and possibly has nightvision, or can at least record at night pretty well. any suggestions or links? i looked at ebay, and there's just so many, I'm not sure what is a good deal, what's a rip-off, and what is just a plain bad deal.

dude get a mini dv cam panisonic(lumix) is the hookup. The only problem with what you want to do is no camcorder uploads to computer through usb. They only upload the still pics(unless your cpu is firewire compatiable). I work at HHgregg i sell camcorders all day long. If you live near me i will hook u up, or anyone else for that matter i can get tvs and car audio

you have to the fire wire connection. i.Link™ (IEEE 1394 PC interface) lets you connect your camcorder to a PC this ieee is comonly called fire wire because of its digital capabitly.

I'd go for a panasonic or canon if you're looking for cheap. You pretty much can't go wrong so long as you do some research beforehand.

You must be living in an alternate plane of reality from me then.......
