Nice to see an audio section of the forum :) Since this is new, everyone post what audio/video setup you have! I want to see your I.C.E. :)

I have a cheap-ol pioneer regular cd deck, 3 jensen 10 inch subs in a sealed box in the trunk along with a jensen amp (not sure of wattage, bought it all used HU and all for $200)

here's my deck, eclipse 5441 (2 remotes :-P)
http://img170.exs.cx/img170/570/cd54413gl.jpg

then i have jl audio seperates powered by a Lightning Audio amp

in the trunk i have 4 kicker comp 10's and a Crossfire HC cheater amp (subs are soon to be replaced, they're worn out :))

i don't have any good pics, i never completely finished the box, decided to upgrade instead.

**edit - found a pic
soon to be replaced by 2 or 3 jl 10w3's

i dont have much but heres what i got.
-JVC KD-S890
-Pioneer front speakers ( i honestly have no idea what ones (i'll look))

I have to put this stuff in: (i have it all wired up just an issue with the amp.)
-JBL power series 12" sub
-the amp i had given to me doesnt work so i have to go get another.

i paid $45 for all wiring and all so it is a ghetto set-up but it works.

I'll post a breif spec of my old system. I also removed it all for weight and so I could take it in and out on race day.

8 10" Hollywood Excursion subs. Used to house 8 JL 10W0 subs.
2 6" Infinity Kappa and 2 1" tweets in the doors (still in)
2 4" Volvano mids and 1.5" tweetes in the kick panels (now removed everyone kept "kicking" them lol)
2 6x9 Infinitys in the rear (still in)
2 SS Autotek 750.1 amps (1500 total sub power)
1 4x50 Pioneer amp for front kicks and doors
1 2x50 Pioneer for the rear both amps mounted under the seats.
If you look in the first pic you can see from top to bottom in my custom dash:
Orion sub x-over, JVC EQ, Pioneer cd player.

154.7 db

Now I run one single Kicker 12" L7 sub (the square sub) and it sounds nice!!

well I did mine without a dremel but would recommend one. YOu basically remove the old tweeter and install this one along with some glue to keep it in place.

They sound great compared to the stockers.

The A-pillars were the only thing that I actually did of my install, what you see there is try # 5. Get used to working with bondo, fibreglass etc etc...the rest is pretty easy, the MB quart tweets are shallow enough to fit there with no real problems. Cut a hole, mould it in and recover with vinyl.

What's nice about the steering wheel?.........it's stock.......lol. :TU:

I've labeled the RCA connections with letters.... A, A', B, B'
The old setup was:

JVC EL Kamelion CD player.. A, B, C
Phoenix Gold EQ215ix... input A', lowpass D, highpass E (xover set at 300hz)
Audiocontrol 24xs, input E', lowpass F, highpass G
Orion Cobalt 2105 input D'... ran pair of neo8's in the doors.
Orion Cobalt 465 input E' running a pair of Audiobahn AS31q's in the doors... input F' running a pair of Audiobahn AT69's in the doors.

Phoenix Gold EQ215 input B', output G
Soundstream D100 series 1, input G', ran pair of Neo8's for rears...
(was still working on xover.... the Soundstream SF90 was going to biamp the rear AS31q's running coaxialy)

2 pairs of Y's on C'.... running them into a pair of Orion Cobalt 465's.... each amp bridged to two channels.. each channel running 1 voice coil of an Xtant 1044...

And some bastard steals my amps..... (grumble)

New setup is using:
Phoenix gold EQ215ix for front stage along with the audiocontrol 24xs
Phoenix gold Tantrum EQ15X (same thing, 1 year newer) for rear fill
Phoenix Gold Ti900.7 for the doors.. (8's, 3's, tweets.. triamped)
Phoenix Gold ZX475ti for the rears..... running the 8's and the AS31q's.
Phoenix Gold TiDD10 for wire management, delayed turnon/off... also runs the cooling fans
Subs will be run with my Phoenix Gold Ti800.1 as soon as I get the Sol running again....

And a Lanzar Vibe250 to amplify the car alarm... through a pair of death tweeters....
10 seconds at 15 feet and your head pulsates and your ears ring....

I have a panasonic HU, Jensen components in the doors, jensen components in the back deck sans tweets, two jensen 10 inch subs in ported band pass box, running off a jensen 300W amp. I am a cheapskate.....but I only paid about $250 for the whole set up and it's more than loud enough for me....but I am thinking about making a sealed box for the 10's in the spare tire well, and replacing the rear deck speakers with some 3 ways and of course...dynamat for at least the trunk lid...lol

1000 Watt Kenwood (all i can remember is that it's an exceleron)
100x4 Watt Kenwood or audio bahn (haven't picked it out yet)
infinity components for the doors, and two way infinities for the rear deck

I'll be using the stock head unit with a few extra mods to it, creating the option of plugging into the stereo using either RCAs or 1/8th inch jack.

thinking about putting a computer on the inside for future use of standalone, movie whatching, game playing, etc...but i still have to get over the hard drive issue of bumps and harsh shaking.

the accord has
sony explode head unit
MA Audio comp 5 1/4 in the doors
MA Audio comp 6x9s in the rear deck

where you have the climate controls is so sick man :TU: :TU:. this might be a dumb question man but .how did you change a burnt out bulb in your outter tails with the box filling the hatch like that? i know a friend who had a full custom hatch system like yours with four 12s in it and he had to basically dismantle the entire box when he got a leak in one of the taillights

2000 Civic Sound Setup

Deck: Pioneer P7700MP
Front Speakers: Stock for now, going to get MTX TX6001 Componets for the front pretty soon.
Rear Speakers: MTX TDX6902
Sub: One 12" MTX Thunder 8500
Amp: MTX 4501 Class D
Subwoofer Box: Custom Built by me.
With my current setup my car is as loud as most cars with two 12" subs. Right now I'm looking into getting a custom fiberglass subwoofer enclosure and an amp for my Front and Rear speakers.

Amp: Alpine MFP-something (can't even remember teh damn code  )
Sub: Kicker 10" CVR

I just took the sub out so I could have my rear channels again, and I must say, It is nice. Might have to find a Rockford series 1 amp to power the sub now. :)
