Anyone know the point at which this particular turbo starts "blowing hot air" (loses efficiency quickly)?

The Garret charts don't make any sense to me. I wish they were in CFM vs. PSI or something.

IIRC, its good up to 225-250whp, so 14-15psi is about its max.
