ZC sohc assistance por favor

Recently purchased a 1998 ZC SOHC (non vtec) with tranny. No axles.
I want to drop it in a 1989 CRX DX. Have been overwhelmed with issues of using correct hubs, axles, inter. shaft, etc.
Would like to know what you would recommend doing to perform the swap.
The tranny it has must be hydro, so would it be much simpler to use a cable tranny for the CRX.
I have a DOHC ZC tranny, but would using that require the use of other axles? I have not been able to find any specs on 98' ZC engines/trannys.
appreciate any info or link to the chart explaining axles, engine, tranny swap guidelines which has eluded me for the past TWO HOURS!! :)

just get a CRX Si tranny, drop in the 3-4 gearsets from the ZC tranny and have a blast.

OK. The stock axles will work with the CRX SI tranny? what intermedate shaft will i need to use? I dont have the stock DX shaft. The ZC shaft shoud be on though, so will that work with the SI tranny,DX axles?.(engine plastic wrapped so havent looked back there)

the Si/DX/HF doesn't use a mid shaft.

That 96^ SOHC ZC NON VTEC runs the 3 wire EACV/IAC and the AUTO Y8 style Intake Manifold-
to save yourself the headache get the A6 or Z6 intake manifold set-up.
the 88-91 CRX/CIVIC Si Distributor and FUEL INJECTORS and NON OBD PM6/PS9 would also save you some time.

Thx for input. Now one thing i didnt mention is that I want to use my hondata (stg 4b) on it.
hondata site has PR3 and PW0 as only obd-0 ecus compatible. I do have a PR3 ecu so if I were to use the PR3 w/ hondata, convert harness to MPFI, & modify the obd-2 dizzy plug to obd-0 plug (from what I researched, this dizzy conversion is impossible & possible :neutral: what do YOU think?) and get some obd-0 injectors (have some from jdm b16a) that should be it??(crosses fingers) :smile:
What did I miss?? OH yeah...loading correct base ecu map on chip which would be pm6 I guess, unless theres a hondata map for my engine.
anything wrong with this?
