Did you see the commerical with the Military walking through the airport in their dessert BDU's getting applauded. As much as we aren't suposed to travel in our BDU's its still a great commerical. I gots the chills watching it and got all choked up inside.

Definately the best commerical I ever saw, by a long shot.

Props to Bud for that one.

Agreed. I even commented to my wife how good of a commercial it was. We know it won't happen, strangers applauding the military omg right, but it should. I thought it was a great commercial and thats how troops SHOULD be treated.

You guys liked that? I really hate the fact that it was Budweiser who made it. It's pretty obvious they were pandering for sales. It would have been much nicer if FOX or the NFL had donated the commercial space for the armed services to use in a commercial.

Yes, and no... I did see a lot of contribution to the troops and not a lot of beer. As a matter of fact, I didn't even know it was bud that made the commercial until today when I heard them talking about it on the radio.

This is most definitely true!

Ok, no beer, but you missed the big company logo on a black background at the end. Most of their other commercials don't show much beer either. The Clydesdale (sp?) horses and all the zoo animals were an example... they just want name recognition.... and loyalty in the case of the army commercial.

I'm super cynical.... I just can't believe that the CEO out of the kindness of his heart said let's pay $2 million to say thanks to the troops. They could have DONATED that money to families of killed troops or something. It was all marketing people who came up with the idea.

But, yeah, ok... if it gave people a nice feeling, I guess there's some merit then.

Budweiser donates a lot of money to help support the troops every year. I was told by one of my troops that if you are active military Budweiser will give Disney tickets to you (don't know how true it is yet).

Well bottom line is it was a nice commercial for or against the advertising.
