88-91 dx and si tranny ....external differences?

how can you tell the difference between the dx and si tranny?...i know they both say L3 but any external difference at all?>:

By the drain plug the SI tranny should say pl3/3000

And if I'm not mistaken, the DX says PL3/1000.

Some of the Si trannys also say pl3/5000.

different years have different #'s.The one i posted was a 91 si
