Damn, just lost another!

I am saddened to say I just found out that we lost another one of our troops in Iraq today. Alain Kamolvathin, one of my favorite soldiers that I have had contact with. I am at a loss for words right now...

I'm sorry Rex...what happened?

They think his Humvee was hit by a landmine (investigation still pending). The strange part about it was he had just got a purple heart about a month prior because of the same thing a landmine!



What can I say about him... Alain left behind a 12 year old sister! Alain was short about 5'5" or so weighing in about 130ish lbs. He was super quiet too, never talked back... Always followed orders, almost always early for formations, and loved his job as a scout! He was an all around great soldier and a great person to be around; he will be missed in a large way! I pray that he may R.I.P.!

Oh yeah, not to go any deeper. He lost both his mother and father like 5 years ago. Actually he was fighting for custody for his 12 yr old sister before he went to Iraq. I didn't think it was relivent, but everyone is going to be praying for people who aren't there.

i feel for you man...he's in a better place right now, it's rough...can't say much...i'm sorry to hear about it...

P.S. we all should have a moment of silence for all the soldiers out there giving there life for our cause. (this is only for respeact purposes)
