oooooo I cant wait for this one ... they have to be pretty sure of themselves throwing the Goldeneye name in front of a James Bond game - the 1st one was one of the best selling FPS ever !!

This time you are fighting against M16, rather than with M16 - the game looks SIMPLY amazing and I already have it pre-order'd at GameSpot :TU:

i heard nfsu2 was same day as halo 2. hmm...

anyways, i saw an awesome rouge agent trailer at the nintendo fusion tour this weekend. music was good (lostprophets and storyof the year), and you could play the new metroid and check out the gameboy double screen. the concert had game trailers playing between shows on two big screens. rogue agent looked the best to me.

Haha, NFSU2 coming out the same day as Halo 2, THAT would be fucking hilarious to see the sales of those two games during that week. :lol:

I'm glad they're going back to a FPS style game. Agent under fire sucked ass like no other with it's crappy 3rd person view, limited actions, and downright PATHETIC multiplayer gameplay. I mean, come on, who wants to run around a small circular room, shooting at each other with Jaws slowly clodding around. Sheesh, I'm glad I didn't buy it, much less rent it.

I might just have to buy a GameCube for this one .. Ive been looking for a reason to get one .. this might be that reason .. the 1st Goldeneye game was the reason I bought a N64

back on topic .. now, GoldenEye: Rogue Agent nears release. promising 20 levels split between eight diverse campaigns, over 20 multiplayer arenas and 100 unique weapon combinations, Rogue Agent looks as thought it may recapture the FPS crown , once again ..

Dude, best reasons for Gamecube right here: Mario Party (take your pick), Wario Ware, Zelda Series. It's by far the best party platform out there.

i second that... Nintendo really needs to focus on licensing agreements. They made a good move with the Resident Evil series, but they killed themselves when Final Fantasy moved to Playstation.

So far, Playstation 2 has the best overall number of games out there, so it doesn't really matter that the graphics engine is not as good as the Xbox or Gamecube.

exactly .. $99 bucks is nothing , and for some odd reason I really like the way the Gamecube controller is set up. Less buttons to worry about ...

the Goldeneye series is what blew the N64 up. I think this game will do the same thing for GC.

had a game cube for two weeks. sold it on ebay. just not enough games to justify owning it.
btw, the new 007 is on xbox too.

but, then again it is only $99. thats really not that much. and i dont think the games they do have are $50 like ps2 and xbox. ill wait a bit before i actually get one though

I wasn't aware of this one....looks like it's time to dust the GC off. I've only used it once, but this looks good. I'm glad that I won my GC at work, I don't think I could justify buying one.
