i have been in to emulators for the past few months

i've downloaded
mame
snes9x
nebula
dega
fceu

i've downloaded a bunch of roms also
street fighter series
shinobi series
metal slug series
and a bunch of others

anyone here who's in to emulation??

Jnes also works and yes, to play older gaming consoles on your pc. You can also find emulators for Atari, Nintendo, superNES, N64, Sega and a few others. NBA Jam is a must have!! Badass classic game so much fun :)

some roms are ilegal to own,specially some snes roms.but they can be found here:
http://www.coolrom.com/snesroms.php

there are specific emulators for especific roms
mame plays arcade roms and so on

Or you can use your fav P2P program and get a rar that's pretty much a complete set for the system. To date, i think i've got around 5,000 roms, totalling around 9 gigs of space. The bulkiest ones are the mame files, they account for 3/5 of the space, and 1/5 of the rom count. :lol:

cherryroms.com, u can pick an emu (snes) nd download just about any snes game ever made including games that weren't released in the states

Its perfectly legal as long as you have the actual game. We all only download and play roms that we own right ? ^_-

yes you do have to download the roms. then you put your downloaded roms in your rom folder of the mame game and then go to mame icon and double click it. once your in go to go to view and click refresh. after go to available and see if the games showed up for you to play. if they showed up then double click on the game and start playing

once you placed the rom you downloaded from here: http://www.rom-world.com/dl.php?name=MAME&letter=0-9 ,place in the roms folder,the like turboprelude95 said go to the mame icon and double click it.thene go to file the to audit all games ,and then click on ''available'' and all the playable games will on that list
