Bones Any Ideas?

So i should go with the zc 5th and 4.25f/d, I'm looking at 24.5x8x13 for tires. Tranny is all thats left on the Del Slow, What is the cost for new syncros?

do you use 5th besides cruising???? no

so why cruise at a higher rpm with the zc 5th, when you can grab a lower ratio 5th like the si .750??

Well...If you were racing. A usable fifth is more desirable than a overdriven gear.

I get it, so a 750 or 771? Bones are you doing the tranny work? How much? if i send you everything. reason i ask, if i get home and have to go tdy again, I won't have time to work it, I can send it out, while i'm gone and have it ready waiting for me at home.
And bones you said not to change the Final/d,right?

keep the 4.25 FD, and do you NEED to change 5th gear for cruising????

Shipping and PROPERLY packing a tranny gets expensive, Figure $60-75 each way.

Spokane Wa, Don't cruise to much, To be safe, we can say we'll change it to .0771,I saw your page, and i Think i can live with ZC 5th and the 4.25 final, I will be pushing allot of juice at the track, I still dought i 'll hit 5th, but you never know. Where are living? if it saves me time i might do it. These deployments are crazy, been out here 3 times this year. I feel like this is home now. Thanks for your inputs.

I use fifth gear quite often! Usually when I redline in 4th I need to grab another gear. With a 4.43 FD it makes perfect sense. Let see I use fifth on the oval @ fontana, The front straight @ Willow springs, The oval @ Vegas speedway, back straight at Infineon and the front straight at Laguna Seca.

I didn't notice his tire spec that should have been a clue that we're talking about drag racing. So ya I fifth isn't used, my bad.

God bless fedex! i guess, let me know if you could do it, and how much. I'll see how long i will be gone. I go with 3-5 ZC and 4.25 final / lsd. should be a killer combo.
