well I got it and its definately different than anything Ive ever played

the control, handling, graphics, sound is ALL different from NFS:Underground which is a good thing

you can dyno your car, pop the hood and look at the engine, buy ALL kinds of upgrades ( much better system than NFS:U ) the handling is a little akward at first, but im slowly getting the hang of it

What is cool is they have different trim levels for different cars -- i.e. you can buy a base model 350z or you can get the enthusiast/track model with different options ( rims, headlights ) you can buy a Celica GT or a action package Celica GTS -- pretty cool feature

and not only do you race for respect and cash , but also you race to get noticed by the hot import models in the game ( Sasha Singleton , Francine Dee, etc. )

Overall its ok , lets just hope it doesnt loose its replay value anytime soon .....

Yeah, I bought it too and it took a while to get used to...although I do like NFS:U's controls better. But my fav part of the game is in the wherhouse you can watch vids of the different girlfriends you find...some of them are HOT!

The game is freakin tight, but it gets better online. You race for pink slips DAWG! haha. But yea I got Tila Nguyen as my g/f and all her vids, and DAYAM is she hot.

The car I got is the Subaru Impreza S202 STI running about 986 hp, but it turns like shit.

Theres another racing game coming out called Jucied and its main cars are Hondas and Acuras, so theres like 10 of them or more, 50 total. That game is coming out Sept. 6th i think somewhere in there.

I started with the 2.5 RS Impreza - AND I STILL HAVE IT !!! ( 489hp )

0-60 in 2.4 :) I have over 100,000 and 7 gfs -- still havent found a replacement car - Im thinkin either EVO 8 or STi ( when they become unlocked :( ) how long did it take to unlock the s202 ??

does the game better as you keep playing?? i.e. more body kits? more rims?? or is it always the same ??

You just have to beat the crew meets at all levels of hp. I think you have to beat 3 of them or 2 forgot, but just beat the easy ones with 100+ hp.

The game gets better b/c you get more cars and girls and harder racing. But you dont get more body kits, or rims, and yes its always the same. But you might be able to unlock more towards the way end, not sure yet, but hopefully you can.

Honda wouldnt have any thing to do with the running from the cops, so they wouldnt let them use there name. I baught it to, i have the impreza rs 0 - 60 in 2.9 sec. Made the mistake of buying a 2004 eclipse gt-s. Has 576 horse power but has a 0 - 60 of 4.2 sec. Its a dog compard to my subi.

I'm from the Minneapolis area, i have sort of an idea where glenwood is but not really.

My S202 STI is 0-60 in 1.9 seconds. I am using the the $600 BF Goodwrench tires b/c that shit makes your 0-60 time so fast. Like in my EVO VIII it was 0-60 in 4.5 then when I added those tires it went down to 0-60 in 2.4 seconds.

Worst game i've played in a long time. I could go on and on about only 12 different cars, no forgiveness if you lose a bad race, rubberband ai, or a ton of unoriginal knockoffs from NFSU, but i'll let every RENT IT FIRST and make their own opinion. I made it 35% through the game and got sick of it. Sold it on ebay for $40 and bought Burnout 3 instead. I'm much happier with it.
